About Me
Jessica Kuchinski, LPC

Compassionate & Intuitive Expertise
I love this work. With over 20 years of experience in the field of psychotherapy, I offer a wide range of interventions on a continuum of evidence-based protocols to more experiential strategies. From physiological hacks for immediate symptom change and skill-building (with education on neurobiology), to family systems, communication, and human developmental theory, to reckoning with spiritual and meaning within the challenges of modern life. Not to forget the equally effective paths of personal symbols, archetypes, intuition, mythology, spirituality, and the hero's journey. I will meet you where you're most excited to begin, and each path will lead to insight and growth.

Many folks have no idea where they’d like to begin. How do we begin to know what is beyond our self-awareness? Some wonder: if their struggle isn’t currently acute, should they enlist a therapist? Or wait until crisis, change, or loss? I love to help with that, too.

My Background
From Northwestern (1999 BA) to Naropa (2006 MA) Universities and in the years since school, my training encompasses Transpersonal Counseling Psychology, Child & Adult Development, Art Therapy, Parenting Coaching, Supervised Parenting via Visitation, Early-childhood intervention, EMDR, Brainspotting, Yoga, Intuition, Past Life Regression, and Guided Visualization for Intuition, Meditation and Healing.

My Counseling and Art Therapy career began in internship at Denver Children's Home, Windhorse Community Services, and Imagine! then led me to seven years in community mental health at Community Reach Center in Northglenn, Brighton, and Thornton. As an Outpatient therapist, a Parenting Supervisor for court-ordered parenting visitation, then an Elementary School-Based Therapist, I worked in clinics, schools, developed and led summer programming for Middle and High School Students. I left for a year, (to teach & develop an art-based summer camp and Sip & Paint organization in Golden) and returned to lead an adult Crisis Stabilization Unit and Walk-in Clinic, when the Colorado Crisis Connection launched in 2014 and led to Crisis Assessment and Psychological Evaluation, Advocacy, and placement through Centura Health. I've enjoyed contract work with Headstart in preschool classrooms with children, parents, and teachers as well as public speaking and team-building in corporate settings. All of these years continue to inform my private practice, which I began full-time in 2016. My practice--equipped with my trusty Labradoodle, Charlie Parker--is located in downtown Louisville, Colorado and on-line across the state.
Insurance & Payment Options
I currently take Medicaid via Colorado Access in Denver County, CHP+, Kaiser, Aetna, private pay, and offer a limited number of sliding scale openings. It's important to me that all folks have access to growth and healing.
